Portal, Proud to be Supporting Stop the Traffik with IBM i2
Portal has been working with IBM to enhance Modern Slavery intelligence capturing, designing solutions to combat Human Trafficking. We’ve now teamed up with Stop the Traffik to help stop Modern Slavery.
Stop the Traffik is a global movement of individuals, communities and organisations fighting to prevent human tracking around the world. Founded in 2006, the charity seeks to prevent the crime of Human Trafficking by engaging in a number of different activities, including: community transformation, global campaigning, gathering and knowledge sharing.
The ultimate goal of the Portal – Stop the Traffik partnership is to eradicate Modern Slavery through the implementation of technology and sharing of intelligence. Both parties believe that the best way to achieve this is through a collaborative approach with communities, non-government organisations (NGOs), businesses, governments and technology providers.
The use of IBM i2 will help Stop the Traffik gather data and knowledge share more efficiently moving forward.
