Portal celebrates 10 years of Technology Excellence
Award-winning business and technology consultancy Portal is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
The Bracknell-based business was formed in 2006 as a result of a merger of several IBM business partners, each experts in their own field. Since then, the company has grown significantly, being named the IBM Business Partner of the Year in 2011, and entering the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 in 2012.
“It’s been an amazing time,” said Managing Director Jon Bradshaw, adding “I’m exceptionally proud of every member of the team who has worked for us, past and present. Although 10 years is just the start of the journey, it’s refreshing to see Portal continue to grow and develop when many similar organisations have come and gone.”
Despite the global economic downturn, Portal flourished in the face of adversity and has come out stronger as a result. With exceptional support from IBM and other key partners, Portal is very much a client-centric business, delivering extraordinary service to ambitious clients.
The company has twice been awarded the IBM Beacon Award. They’ll be going for the award for a third successive year.
Furthermore, in 2016, Portal was awarded a place on the G-Cloud 7 Framework for the supply of cloud technology and support to the public sector.
Portal are running a number of events throughout 2016 to celebrate this anniversary, and have created a new logo to mark the occasion.
